     The Forests National Corporation (FNC) Headquarter is comprised of the following

The Board of Directors:

The FNC established an autonomous entity and a Board of Directors (BD) is to be established to cater for all its affairs, and to perform on its behalf all the authorities specified in that act. The BD is the point of contact of FNC with its environment.

The Director General:

The Director General (DG) is the senior executive officer who is in charged of the corporation activities.

The Internal Auditor:

The role of the Internal Auditor is highlighted in para 3.3.3. above.

The Legal Advisor:

Several FNC activities need legal input. This includes the reservation process, royalty collections, interpretation of the FNC, …etc.

The Executive Office:

It is concerned with the DG business and it keeps all correspondences and documents concerning him.

The Sectors

Three main sectors of work are differentiated to form the main activities of FNC. The sectors are as follows:

·        Technical Affairs Sector.

·        Investment Sector.

·        Finance and Administrative Affairs Sector.

FNC State Administration:

There are 15 States Administration in Northern Sudan. However, the representation of FNC in Southern Sudan is negligible and major changes are expected to take place soon as a direct result of Peace Agreement.
